The George at Burpham Newsletter

"By the locals, of the locals,
for the locals . . . and a very
warm welcome to everyone!"

ith Christmas approaching rapidly and our social calendars filling up, why  not take a little of the stress out of at least one evening this year by letting us supply the cheer, spirit, atmosphere, great food and drink?

Our enticing new Christmas Party menu is now available and although we're not open on Christmas Day itself (we allow ourselves one day to rest!)
this party menu offers a super range of festive treats plus our regular favourites up until t
he New Year.

Book up a table for your family, office or
your close friends' celebration as soon as possible and please note that your choice of dishes needs to be pre-ordered around a week prior to the date of your party.

ossibly the most magical evening of the year, New Year's Eve at The George at      Burpham is a very special and romantic time. The cosy atmosphere, bonhomie and warmth (not least from our woodburner stoves) provides the perfect setting for a great celebration.

With the very best, fresh, seasonal produce, our menu has been carefully crafted for the evening, and together with our fine ales and wines, we will have you in the highest of spirits for when we raise our glasses at the chimes.

We also have a DJ for the evening - the entertainment is all included in the price!

Have a look at our New Year's Eve menu below (again, pre-ordering is essential) -
but being such a popular, special occasion, we tend to get booked up very quickly.

nce again this year we will be
 'lighting our Christmas Tree'
(not literally) as part of our exterior decorations - another small way to give something back to our village and community . . and to help Santa find us.
So from early December the square in Burpham will be very festive
 - come and enjoy the atmosphere, have a meal, a drop of vino, and make a real evening of it.

We have been nominated in Sussex Life magazine as one of their top 20 Winter pubs - based on cosiness, atmosphere and welcome. Maybe it's the woodburners . . .
We'd like to extend a warm welcome to you!
